Wal-Mart's Confronted On "Happy Holidays"

So here we go again with the arguments against stores saying "Happy Holidays" and not "Merry Christmas". I agree with Dick Otterstad, the man in the picture, that we should be saying "Merry Christmas" if we want to, and not stop just because groups like the ACLU thinks it's not right. I do believe that other faiths have there rights with what they believe during the holiday season, but I don't think that others should be penalized for it. I also think that it is pretty impressive how the American Family Association got over 500,000 signatures asking Target to include Christmas in its promotions. I definitely don't think that people should be making fun of protestors either. It's their right to protest for their own reasons. (AP Photo)
"I was pleased last year to proclaim 1983 the year of the Bible. But you know, a group called the ACLU severely criticized me for doing that. Well, I wear their indictment like a badge of honor". - President Reagan, January 1984
